The cast in the new production of the oldest Montenegrin state theatre includes: Sr\u0111an Grahovac, Varja \u0110uki\u0107, Marija Ma\u0161a Labudovi\u0107, Vule Markovi\u0107, Jelica Vuk\u010devi\u0107, Goran Vujovi\u0107 and Jelena Laban.<\/p>\n

The play “Anna Karenina”, based on the novel by L.N. Tolstoy, directed by Mirko Radonji\u0107, co-produced by the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom” and the Drama Studio \u201cPrazan Prostor” Podgorica, will be performed on Friday, October 7 at 6pm at National Theatre Sarajevo within 62nd International Theatre Festival MESS.<\/p>\n

The program will continue on Saturday, October 8, with the premiere of the film “I, Maria Gabriela, granddaughter of Queen Jelena of Savoy”, by Miodrag Bole Bo\u0161kovi\u0107, in cooperation with the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje.\u00a0The screening will start at 8 pm.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, October 12 at 8 pm, the audience will see the play “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf”, directed by Paolo Magelli, based on the text by Edward Albee. The cast includes: Ana Vujo\u0161evi\u0107, Dejan Ivani\u0107, Ana Vukovi\u0107 and Milo\u0161 Pejovi\u0107.<\/p>\n

“Anna Karenina” will be performed two evenings in front of the audience in Podgorica, on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 15 and 16, starting at 7 pm in the Vojni hangar Zagori\u010d.<\/p>\n

The City Theatre Podgorica will have a guest performance in the Royal Theatre \u201cZetski dom\u201d with the play for children “20,000 miles under the sea” (5+), based on the famous novel by Jules Verne, directed by the Slovenian director Marko \u010ceh, on Saturday, October 22, at 1 pm.<\/p>\n

This month in the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom” the second phase of rehearsals for the new play “Groupie” begins, directed by Ana Vukoti\u0107 based on the one-act plays of contemporary Croatian writer Mate Mati\u0161i\u0107.\u00a0The roles were entrusted to Ana Vujo\u0161evi\u0107, Dejan Ivani\u0107, Vulo Markovi\u0107, Marija Ma\u0161a Labudovi\u0107, Goran Vujovi\u0107, Jelica Vuk\u010devi\u0107 and Vukan Pejovi\u0107.<\/p>\n

Realisation of the “Studio of the Royal Theatre” also begins in October.\u00a0It is a free creative-pedagogical workshop for children and young people aged 8 to 16, which aims to develop imagination, education, talent and creative potential, under the mentorship of theatre director and pedagogue, prof.\u00a0Petar Pejakovi\u0107.\u00a0The programme will last until June, and after the short selection, the children will participate in the realisation of a theatre play together with the acting ensemble of “Zetski dom\u201d.\u00a0The application process for participation will be organised in cooperation with primary and secondary schools from Cetinje.<\/p>\n
