The play “Beneath the Two Suns”, based on the novel by Ognjen Spahi\u0107, dramatization by Stela Mi\u0161kovi\u0107 and directed by Boris Lije\u0161evi\u0107, will be performed on Saturday November 5 in Montenegrin National Theatre in Podgorica at 8pm.<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the latest production of the Royal Theatre \u201cZetski dom\u201d the cast includes: Sr\u0111an Grahovac, Varja \u0110uki\u0107, Marija Ma\u0161a Labudovi\u0107, Vule Markovi\u0107, Goran Vujovi\u0107, Jelica Vuk\u010devi\u0107 and Jelena Laban.<\/p>\n

Director Boris Lije\u0161evi\u0107 reminds that the novel is about a married couple who have lived on a lighthouse for 27 years, since the events that drastically affected their lives and their destinies.<\/p>\n

“We have people who have been changed by loneliness and isolation, their characters and relationships have changed. They live in silence, they are involved in the past, and have stopped at one moment in life. In the second part of the play, they have uninvited guests, two young people who want to camp near the lighthouse.\u00a0After 27 years, they meet some people again, life wakes up and laughter and screams start to ring out. However, the question is whether, after so many years of silence, abandonment and loneliness, a new life is welcome”, emphasizes the director.<\/p>\n

Scenography by Janja Valjarevi\u0107, Costume designer is Lina Lekovi\u0107, Composer is Nina Perovi\u0107, Assistant of the Director is Nina Martinovi\u0107, and the Costume designer\u2019s assistant is Mia \u0110urovi\u0107.<\/p>\n
