Zetski dom

February repertoire of the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom” will characterize reference programme, apart from performances on the home stage and guest appearances, there will be also a musical segment.

On Sunday, February 5th in Cetinje will be performed the play “Beneath the two Suns”, based on the novel by Ognjen Spahić, dramatization by Stela Mišković and directed by Boris Liješević. The performance will start at 8pm.

A day later, on Monday, February 6th, in the organization of Fund for Active Citizenship (FAKT), in the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom”, the awarding of “Iskra” Philanthropy Awards and recognitons will be organized at 7 pm.

The play “Anna Karenina”, based on the novel by L.N. Tolstoy, directed by Mirko Radonjić will be performed on Wednesday, February 8th at 7pm. The play is co-produced by our theatre and Drama studio “Prazan prostor” Podgorica, and it won several awards at FIAT festival, the Biennial of Scene Design Novi Sad and MESS festival in Sarajevo.

As part of the non-repertoire activity, in the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom” on Friday, February 10th at 6 pm, awards ceremony for best athletes and sports organizations of Cetinje for the year 2022 will be organized. The event is organized by the Old Royal Capital Cetinje.

The play “The Presidents” (Die Präsidentinnen), from our recent production, directed by Radmila Vojvodić, based on Werner Schwab text, will be performed on Monday, February 13th at 8 pm.

On Saturday, February 18th, the play “Groupie”, from our latest production, based on the one-act plays of the contemporary Croatian writer Mate Matišić, and directed by Ana Vukotić, will be performed at 8pm.

The guest appearance of Montenegrin National Theatre with the play “The Trial”, by Franz Kafka, adapted and directed by Dušanka Belada, will be performed on the stage of “Zetski dom” on Wednesday, February 22nd at 8pm.

Two days later, on Friday, February 24th, “Zetski dom” will have guest appearance in Tivat with the play “Beneath the two Suns”, the performance is scheduled for 8pm in Cultural Center.

One of today’s most notable European pianists, Nada Kolundžija, will hold a concert in the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom” on Sunday, February 26th , starting at 8 pm.

At the end of the repertoire, the audience in Cetinje will watch the play “Iphigenia”, directed by Zoran Rakočević based on Euripides work. The play was co-produced by the Cultural Centers Kolašin and Bijelo Polje, as well as the NGO “Korifej Teatar”, and will be performed on Monday, February 27th at 8 pm.
