The play “Beneath the Two Suns”, based on the novel by Ognjen Spahić and directed by Boris Liješević, will be performed on Friday November 4 in the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom” at 8pm. 

The cast includes Srđan Grahovac, Varja Đukić, Marija Maša Labudović, Vule Marković, Goran Vujović, Jelica Vukčević and Jelena Laban.

The Author of the dramatization, Stella Mišković, says that almost every sentence from Spahić’s novel is so meaningful that the theme and essence of the play can be wrapped around each one.

“We are talking about people whose hearts are bleeding, who spent their hearts on a state that no longer exists, on duties and an ideology that is meaningless and ridiculed by today’s younger generations. They spent their hearts on grief for an unborn child, on suffering, on hatred, on compromises,” said Mišković.

Scenography by Janja Valjarević, Costume designer is Lina Leković, Composer is Nina Perović, Assistant of the Director is Nina Martinović, and the Costume designer’s assistant is Mia Đurović.
