Montenegro International Theatre Festival - MIT Fest is one of our most significant projects of the recent period. After the experimental one at the end of 2013, the first edition was held from April to June 2015. The festival includes drama, film, music and educational programmes, and among the participants are the most important theatre institutions and organizations from the countries of the region and beyond. From 2015 until today, the MIT festival has been held in different periods of the year and at different locations in Cetinje. In addition to the main stage in the Royal Theatre ``Zetski dom``, festival segments were often organized on public areas, and also on the Summer Stage. Thanks to the quality and uniqueness of the programme, the reputation of the actors, the MIT festival attracts the audience not only from Cetinje, but also from other cities in Montenegro. Below are the details of the editions of the MIT Festival that are held so far.
MIT festival 2019.
The fourth edition of the MIT Festival took place from 8 to 17 May. During the festival, nine programmes were performed in the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom”.
MIT festival 2017.
The third edition of the MIT Festival took place from 14 to 28 May. During the festival, twelve programmes were performed in the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom”.
MIT festival 2016.
The second MIT festival took place from 20 April to 14 June, 2016. During the festival twenty seven drama, literary, musical and media programmes were organized in the Royal Theatre “Zetski Dom” and other locations.
MIT festival 2015.
The first edition of the MIT Festival took place from 7 April to 22 June. During the festival twenty four diverse programmes were organized in the Royal Theatre “Zetski Dom” and other public locations in the city.
