March at “Zetski dom”
March repertoire of the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom” will characterize programmes on the home stage and guest appearances.
First, the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom” will have guest appearance on Monday, March 6th, at Cultural Center Danilovgrad with one of the most performed plays “God of Carnage”, which was directed by Siniša Evtimov, based on the text by Yasmina Reza. Cast: Vule Marković, Marija Maša Labudović, Jelena Đukić and Omar Bajramspahić. The performance is scheduled for 8 pm.
The concert of the “Union music” quintet will be held in “Zetski dom” on Thursday, March 9th at 8 pm. The ensemble was founded in 2022 in Podgorica with the aim to present music of the 20th and 21st centuries by domestic and foreign composers to the Montenegrin audience.
The promotion of the bio-bibliography of Živko Nikolić “In Search of the Golden Wire”, author Vera Đukanović, realized on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the birth and the 20th anniversary of the death of the great cinematographer, will be held on Friday, March 10th at 8 pm. Excerpts of Nikolić’s presentation about the film and himself, selected by the editor Andro Martinović, will be spoken by Montenegrin actors. This programme segment is organized by Old Royal Capital Cetinje.
The play “Night of the Tribades”, based on work by P.O.Enquist, directed by Branko Ilić, co-produced by Youth Theatre from Podgorica and Cultural Center Tivat, will be presented to the audience in Cetinje on Tuesday, March 14th at 8 pm. The performance is realized in cooperation with Old Royal Capital Cetinje, while the roles in the play, which deals with gender equality, women’s emancipation and freedom of choice, are performed by: Jelena Simić, Ivona Čović, Lazar Đurđević and Branko Ilić.
“Butterfly” is one of the most performed plays of the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom”, directed by Andraš Urban based on the text by Aleksandar Radunović, and starring Ana Vujošević, Srđan Grahovac and Dejan Ivanić, will be performed on Saturday, March 25th at 8 pm.
On the occasion of the World Theatre Day, the audience will watch the play “The Presidents” (Die Präsidentinnen), directed by Radmila Vojvodić based on the text by Werner Schwab, on Monday, March 27th at 8 pm. Cast: Nada Vukčević, Ana Vučković and Jelena Laban.
