Zetski dom

The play “Butterfly”, based on the text by Aleksandar Radunović, directed by Andraš Urban, will be performed on Saturday, March 25th in the Royal Theatre “Zetski dom” at 8pm.

The Cast: Ana Vujošević, Srđan Grahovac and Dejan Ivanić.

Aleksandar Radunović’s drama uncompromisingly deconstructs the notion of family. A man, within his own incapability to overcome the transitional approach to society, is unable to become a true “I”, an authentic person in the basic community, to accept the other, the one with whom he should form the core cell of the society, which as such is not intended for destruction but creation. We want to get reborn over and over again. That desire is, however, articulated in the stream of destruction of everything human – which we generally take as positive, as the fundamental value of man’s existence. We get reborn for each scene. But evil also gets born with us, within society’s womb. It is always the other person who is responsible and that person must suffer.” (Andraš Urban)

Dramaturgy by Rajko Radulović, music by Aleksandar Radunović.
